2019-2020: Who is the Reds #3 Prospect???

RHSP Hunter Greene won the #2 slot. Onwards and upwards.... these polls will go quick now - so please vote when you can.

Please feel free to discuss why you are voting for who you are voting for.....this is a slow time of the year so it's more than welcomed.

***If you are voting other, please make sure to tell me who the other vote is for in the comment section.

If Stephenson isn't next I think yall have lost your minds....
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

    Same here.

I like the SS who has more power than the C. So sue me.

I get it. Garcia's upside is higher, IMO. (Ask me tomorrow and that might change.)

AA and the AFL pushed Stephenson over the top for me.

He did well in both leagues. More than that, actually. He did very well. (Especially in the small sample of the AFL.) The scouting reports were glowing as well, and most experts think he'll find that 60 power-- eventually.

Even if not, I suspect his floor is as a solid backup, while Garcia's floor is cup of coffee no-hit middle infielder.

And that is a perfectly sound rationale. The AA jump is significant.

Has India mightily fallen as a prospect? I see an infielder with power, what am I missing? Perhaps he starts to pick up votes in the 4th and 5th slots for these rankings.

He's got some bat-on-ball issues, carrying a .254 career BA in the minors. That has the potential to crater as he starts facing better pitchers who aren't going to hand him as many free passes.

Most of us are confined to studying minor league stats in our analyses. While his stats have been lackluster, the Reds have promoted him aggressively. I see that as a positive coming from those closer to the game and his ability to learn and develop.
