    Nick Lodolo

Lodolo is 6'6" - 205 lb Junior. The first pitcher taken in his draft year. He has 4 pitches and throws as hard as 97.

After seeing how expensive starting pitching is in this years free agency. There is no way I would trade Greene or Lodolo. They both are 1-3 years away from possibly being dominating pitcher for us. Pitchers we will have years of control over. As a small market team they are our best chance to compete in the long haul.

If we trade for Lindor and give away 2-3 good prospect for a chance to win the NL Central that is not good enough. If you are telling me we are Lindor away from being World Series favorites than I may consider it.

I don't want another lost decade. As a small market team we can't miss or trade away top draft picks for 1-2 years of hope.

I think it's possible we could see Lodolo this coming year.

    Ummm...controllable years.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

I’m sure it’ll be after May by the time we see him, for that very reason, even if he knocks the door down in spring training.

Reds are likely to lose Bauer or DeSclafani or both in 2021. I look for them to promote Lodolo aggressively this year with an eye on adding him in '21.

Agreed. I suspect Lodolo will be pitching meaningful innings (either starting or out of the pen) by August or September.

You're right; both Louisville and Chattanooga are easy drives.
