I understand the logic: Teams are generally more averse to adding payroll when compared to prior deadlines, and there's uncertainty regarding the upcoming free agent market. So, make some 2021 moves now (and re-balance your depth chart) at low financial cost.

Those are, IMO, the most fun trades in baseball.

They're so interesting to dissect and can be talked about and analyzed for a decade afterward.

I would honestly give a decent amount to snag Plesac.....think he is under team control until around 2025! Clevinger has a couple more years of arbitration.

At Trade Deadline, look for #Braves to be among most aggressive teams in looking for rotation help. Atlanta has five quality starts in 23 games this season, defined as 6+ IP and 3 ER or fewer. (Soroka, out for the year, had one.)
