The roster now sits at 38. Alaniz was outrighted to and cleared waivers to Louisville so there's now room for two instead of one..What they do with those 2 spots is anyone's guess.

All the Lorenzen thing means is tht he must be carried as a pitcher - he can still play in the field and if he gets 20 starts in the field they can carry him as a 2 way player next season
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

Dauris Valdez home park is an extreme hitter's park. But his splits are oddly the same with him being lucky at home and rather unlucky on the road. He's been an older prospect at every level.
But guys that top a hundo.. worth a flier to me.

Real good list here - https://www.fishstripes.com/2019/12/...couting-report. Friedl's on it
Eli White, a SS from the Rangers' system (and one-time reds draftee), maybe could be a useful bench option. Though my default Rule V pick is take no one. Fill out the roster with MLB talent.
I'm not a system player. I am a system.

Anyone know what time the draft is?
Wednesday is the best day every year - the annual trade show and job fair.
Jordan Sheffield of the Dodgers looks interesting. Former first-round pick out of Vanderbilt and converted to bullpen. Gave up 32 hits (but 43 walks) in 55 innings in A and double-A. Struck out 74. Also Zack Brown had a bad season in AAA for Brewers, but I think he's worth a shot.

He's got anxiety issues that he seems to enjoy relieving with pot, so they'd have to keep him in check but, I wanted the Reds to draft him 5 years ago. Excellent fastball/slider combo and good command.
Double edged if it hurts Milwaukee.
Anyone worthy will have been picked by the time the Reds selection comes up. Anyone they take will be a non-factor this year.
