I'm a diehard fan and find myself underestimating them at times. I was expecting a loss last night, the conditions were perfect for the upset, yet this team gutted out the win. I saw several media types predicting a VCU win.

Winning at Rhody will be tough but obviously doable. If they can do that and avoid slipping up in Brooklyn, they really just need one little bit of help. Collorado State to knock off SDSU in Vegas? Or BYU beating Gonzaga in Vegas? Maybe KU losing to Baylor and then losing another couple of Big XII games.
From a Dayton fan's perspective, you might want to just get the first #2 seed instead of the fourth #1 seed. They're basically the same thing, and you'll avoid having to listen to a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth about your team and resume from the national press.
^^^there definitely is an argument that the top #2 Seed can be better than the final #1 Seed depending on location and bracket layout.
That bracket layout is the thing.
bracket is going to be tough this year...Some Big 10 teams will likely get moved up and down lines from where they may deserve if 10 of more make the field. I assume the rule is still in place that teams are no allowed or should play another team from their conference before the Sweet 16. I recall one of the media "bracketologist" a few years ago claiming it can become tricky if more than 7/8 teams come from one conference.
Yeah, they shift seedings accordingly...as best they can.
If the Flyers play in Cleveland opening weekend I will be using some PTO and all my old UD friends will be joining me at my house for an old school UD house party. Wife and kids will be spending the weekend with the in-laws!
