There's 41 Bowl games. Way too many IMO. You only need a .500 record - and sometimes not even that - to be bowl eligible. So yeah, as an older-timer, it has devalued the meaning of the Bowl game IMO. But that's the nature of the beast anymore. Probably won't watch half the schedule; but understand why it's done. Lots of money flowing everywhere with 41 "Spring Breaks" going on all over the country. T'is the season to be jolly! (LOL).

North Dakota State definitely looks gettable this year.
I did not watch game, but that score does not resemble how NDSU usually takes care of 10-5 teams in the Quarterfinals....still expect them to get to the finals and lose to James Madison.
Nothing like watching a football game (Army-Navy), where between the two teams total there was five passing attempts for 26 yards, and 102 rushing attempts for 518 yards!
Navy QB was 1 fer 1 passing for 1 yd, and a TD. Ended with a QBR of 99.0 LOL

To the surprise of no one, Burrow won the Heisman.
What was surprising was that Hurts finished second. Justin Fields also finished ahead of Chase Young.
My guess...Fields and Youngs votes canceled each other out. Always tough when a team has 2 candidates!!!

I saw a projection before that had Hurts #2...not sure if it was ESPN, CBS, etc. Hurts just had bigger numbers.

Had no issue with the Heisman voting at all. Out of the four top positions the Buckeyes had two of them. I certainly hope no one is whining about that (LOL)
