I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

I'm going to guess they'd want to build a deal with Senzel being the center piece with at least a couple B level prospects. That being said I have no idea as I'm not sitting in on any conversations like that, which I'm sure is your point.

Is it though? Lindor may have lost $100 million on his next contract, but did the Indians really lose that much in trade value? The Dodgers had to give up Alex Verdugo for one year of Mookie Betts with the hopes they could sign him long term.

Oh definitely a lot less. I can't imagine what Mookie would've cost the Dodgers prior to the 2019 season, he may not have even been made available then. Lindor will still be costly but probably just an arm or a leg compared to an arm and a leg before last season.

You are RedsZone's Billy Hamilton. Or Wily Taveras.

That Boss-Hog is batting third is ridiculous. He's never in the lineup! And Roy Tucker is too old to do anything.

    woy only hits southpaws too.

    Keymastur hitting seventh is acceptable.

    Yes, please.

    I'd reorder them thusly:

    LF Akiyama
    CF Senzel
    SS Lindor
    3b Suarez
    2b Moustakas
    RF Castellanos
    1b Votto

    CA Stephenson

I'd hit Lindor leadoff. That's where he's been and that's what is going to get him the most PAs.

Yeah - I honestly just don't think any of us have a clue right now how to value players who make money given how teams are reacting to having to pay anyone in their organization right now.

Do you have to pay less in acquisition cost, by a lot, simply because you're willing to pay a guy $21M? I have no idea.
