That's a tough one. I think he would be a long term fix, I guess it depends on if they are sold on Bridgewater as a QB. I think I would try to get Brady, Rivers, and possibly even Dalton before I went with him. I do think he is an upgrade to Brissett tho.

So you feel they just need a stop gap QB?

    Dear Andy,

As long as it takes for both Rivers and Bridgewater to first decline an offer to play for Indianapolis and we, as an organization, come to a concrete conclusion that we have no realistic chance to draft (or acquire via draft day trade) Herbert or Jordan Love.

    Signed,

If I'm the GM, I'm gonna try to get one of those moldy but goodies QBs before the draft. If that works, then I draft the replacement and let him watch and learn...a la Aaron Rodgers, and hope it works. If I cant get an old, I get a Dalton or maybe a Bridgewater.

Now is a good time to do what Seattle did. Trade for a Veteran like Dalton, sign a FA like Bridgewater, and draft a QB in the 3rd Round and let the three of them fight it out in training camp, cutting either the traded QB or the FA, while keeping the other one and the drafted QB.

I would rather just roll with JB, gonna be hard to root for a team with Rivers. Like the trade yesterday though, looks like they are going for it.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

Low risk move...he had success in the past with this coach, best O line he has played with in years.
