The big difference being many of them hit for .600+ SLG their final year in college and he did not and those who do are typically 1B/LF'ers (like Spilane) who breakout their junior year, he is a centerfielder.
Carrying a .340 OBP in your first year of full season baseball - at A+ - at age 21 - is still impressive enough for me to rank him here. I think if he had hit .283 in his month with the Reds like he did in 4 months with the A's A+ affiliate he'd already be off the board. He had a poor first 3 weeks of April, a good to great May/June/July and then a poor final 3 weeks of August after the trade.
