Is David Bell up to the task?

I'm merely answering the question posed by the post: "Is David Bell up to the task?" My answer is no. He's not temperamentally cut out for the job. He'd be better in a front office role.

Yes. He got a good baseball mind. But there are moment to moment events on the field that he struggles to cope with. And that can't help but effect the team.

Agreed. He really needs to stop choosing "lose" when he has the choice to "win" instead.
