Hill is out injured and expected to miss at least half of the season. Pineda still has 39 games of suspension time yet to serve. Who pitches the games that they miss? Starting pitching was Minnesota's weakness last year and they did little to fix it. The Twins have the better bats. The Indians have much better pitching. It will be a close race for the division.

Their rotation reminds me of our offense, with less depth. Plenty of upside and downside.

Im not impressed with the above but it’s been mentioned (and it’s true if they wish to go that route) that the Twins lineup is now stacked and they have some nice prospect chips they can cash in for starting pitching.

    To be continued...

It wasn't truly a weakness. They ranked 10th in quality starts. It just wasn't as good as the other playoff teams. I don't disagree the Indians have better SP but that Twins rotation supported by that lineup is formidable.

Some good news for a change...

Giants hire first woman to a major-league coaching staff: Alyssa Nakken

The Giants hired Alyssa Nakken as one of manager Gabe Kapler’s assistant coaches, the first woman to be hired to a major-league coaching staff.

Nakken, 29, who has been with the Giants since 2014, most recently was responsible for developing, producing and directing health and wellness initiatives and events.

She began as an intern in the baseball operations department and was assigned to projects related to the amateur draft, international operations and player development.

MLB website has been running a top 10 prospect list. I found the 1B interesting since the Rockies have players listed at 8, 9, & 10.

RedsZone has proposed the Reds try and acquire Trevor Story. Maybe it would be worth going after one of the 1B as a future Votto replacement?

    The Top 10 (ETA)

    Andrew Vaughn, White Sox (2021)
    Evan White, Mariners (2020)
    Triston Casas, Red Sox (2022)
    Ryan Mountcastle, Orioles (2020)
    Seth Beer, Diamondbacks (2020)
    Lewin Diaz, Marlins (2020)
    Bobby Bradley, Indians (2020)
    Michael Toglia, Rockies (2022)
    Grant Lavigne, Rockies (2022)
    Tyler Nevin, Rockies (2020)
