    was watching an old met game and got to see some of the legends of 2015 josh smith, pedro villareal, branyon pena, scpott schumaker, dejesus, brandon boesch it was epic

    they were good, but not Kevin Gregg, Chris Dominguez, Ryan Mattheus, Nathan Adcock, John Lamb, David Holmberg, Ryan LaMarre, Collin Balester, Jason Marquis or Keyvius Sampson good

    No. Those other guys were there to duct tape a team together that was over on payroll and pretending to contend. It was my least favorite season, to the point where I followed a different team from spring training to the post season. The one and only time I've done that.

    2015 was the argument that finally led to the divorce.

    2016-17 was the Thanksgiving alone eating a Hungry-Man salisbury steak meal.

    I actually thought Sampson might stick. IIRC, he found some immediate success in the bullpen but it didn't last.
