Which Coaching Candidate Makes Most Sense for Kyrie, KD and the Brooklyn Nets?

I fully expect the NBA to play it's full 82-game schedule while every game played will be without any crowds.

Is it reading too far into the tea leaves (or too cynical) to think that this is a way to measure who's the biggest star between KD and Kyrie?

Kyrie will want Lue, while KD will probably side with Mike Brown.

The smart money would be on neither, but I suspect Kyrie's temperament means Lue's the guy.

That said, a Jason Kidd return to New York?? Sign me up for that.

I was always meh on Sampson as a pro, but even if you were high on him, his knees were never going to last.

I suspect he'd have been fine if he hadn't chosen to come back so soon.

    He needed rest.

Instead, he came back, got injured again, hurt the other knee, and was never the same.

In today's game, he'd be remarkable.

    (So would Bowie.)

The workouts will be voluntary and individual.

NBA talking out both sides of their mouth. First they say they were going to allow the practice facilities to open because if a player can go to 24/7 Fitness to workout, then they should just be allowed to have access to the practice facility. Then, they add on restrictions about who, when, where, etc. OK, but guys in states that have reopened can go to other rec centers to play high level pickup games, then why are you trying to stop more than one player working out at the practice facility. I would think 5 Atlanta Hawks working out together at the practice facility would be far more safe than 2 Atlanta Hawks and 27 members of the community running 5 on 5 at the Atlanta Athletic Club....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this just saying players are now allowed to use team facilities on their own (without other players present)? (Assuming, of course, it's allowed in their state.)

So basically, they are now allowed to dribble, shoot, and maybe pass, but not play, right?

Interesting question today from the Lowe Report.

Derrick Rose, assuming he puts up four or five years like this one with the Pistons-- is he a Hall of Famer?

If he's not, he'll be the first MVP not enshrined (or soon to be) in the Hall.

I don't know whether that's commendable or shortsighted.

Does it matter if the Atlanta Hawks practice? Only games that are going to happen are playoffs. The Hawks' season is over.

honestly, I heard someone say when they are asked about if it is likely someone will make the BBall HOF, the answer is likely yes. I kind of agree.....it has really became the Hall of Very Good Players. If it was even close to being as limited as Baseball, it would need much less square footage. That said, per Basketball Reference his odds are poor right now at only 12%....less than Al Horford (12%), Kemba Walker (15%), John Wall (29%), Draymond Green (30%), and Rajon Rondo (41%).

I just shake my head when I head basketball media suggest Draymond is a lock.....and no he does not stack up to Dennis Rodman.

Rose in the HOF? I don't think so. I mean, maybe after they let Gus Williams, Fat Lever and Mark Price in.

By opening up practice facilities, players recovering from injuries will be able to go in and get looked at and work out rehabilitation regimens that are monitored more closely.
