I'm not convinced yet. Always room for improvement but it does make me feel better with DJ as pitching coach. I'd rather shore that up than anything else.

Not to split hairs but he said he “heard” it’s out there. That’s not speculation.

“Considering” is probably somewhere between “listening” and “shopping.”

Opt-out is after year one per Passan and Heyman.

4/$64 for Castellanos seems like a really good deal to me, I’d have gone up to $10 mill more if that’s what it took. Very happy about this, and hopefully the upgrading isn’t over.

Cool. Liking the deal. The opt out is a little disconcerting but for 2020 I'm loving this.

With a one year opt out..... that puts a different spin on it to me. I'm not so sure I don't hang on to Senzel/Winker/Aquino, etc. They all have options.

I’m gonna be greedy and ask for a Reds World Series this year with Castellanos only putting up 1.5 WAR to dissuade him from opting out. Then he goes beast mode from 2021 on.

couldn't get this done with the opt out being after the second year? that's disappointing, but i'm still very happy about this signing.
