    Well, this sucks.

It’s like we’re literally not allowed to have something good happen without something bad to offset it.

Hopefully it’s a speedy recovery and no lingering effects. This team needs Geno being Geno.

I hate to say it, but what are the chances that neither Suarez nor Senzel will be ready for the opening day lineup?

Shall they make another news splash and get one more offensive outfielder?

I wonder if Gennett and Dietrich are healthy?

Better act quickly if you want the Sultan of Scoot. But it would be a nice touch.

Eh, there isn't any structural damage from the reports I read. Barring another injury I think he's back by opening day or within a week or two of it.

Some of you are acting like he's out for the year. You aren't going out and signing someone if a guy is going to miss a week.

How do you get this injury hopping into a swimming pool?

IIRC George Springer missed a month, and Carlos Correa missed two months last year. And the Astros were one game from winning the World Series.

    Re: Suarez has surgery

Unless he's referring to the fact that Suarez will be back by opening day, so there's no reason to do anything crazy, the comments from Krall make me understand the OF plan even less. Someone has to go into the dirt for 30-40 games (maybe it's Castellanos at 1B?) to keep 4 OF fed. It doesn't sound like it is going to be Senzel.

Had to happen. Too many positive things surrounding the franchise; hopes were getting too high.

Just makes it easier to conceal the pitch-identifier buzzer on his shoulder.
