Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

This is approaching the Edmonds thing for me....if David Bell can get him to put his hat on straight-ish I’ll feel at least a little better

As long as he throws up donuts he can wear his hat anyway he wants! His 4.97 era last year is concerning. I hope we got him on the cheap.

For extra fun, the Reds just HAVE to re-sign Puig now.

He’ll be 35 and coming off his first down year. HR , BB and hits were up. Not sure I’ll be too excited if they sign him.

Strop’s K rate, BB rate and HR rate all were higher than usual last season. Fangraphs pitch values shows a decline last season in his fastball effectiveness.

He’s been a very low HR pitcher except for 2019’s 1.3 HR/9 rate.

I like the move if fairly priced. Has had some excellent seasons. Maybe the pitching coaches can help him bounce back for a top season in 2020.

I hold no ill will over the Puig incident. Such things happen. If he can come back, he's a welcome addition.

He wears his hat straight; he just stands crooked.

I wouldn’t have even remembered the Puig thing if I didn’t see it mentioned on Twitter. Remember when we all disliked Jared Hughes? We got over that pretty fast.

Strop was really good, for years, before last season. Won’t mind having him on board at all, though I really wish they’d jumped on Brandon Kintzler.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Did you see the clip on the link posted earlier?

I love Thom passive-aggressively calling Puig out “If a batter wants to get to the mound, he’ll get there.” Oh Thom you never disappoint.
