2019-2020: Who is the Reds #23 Prospect??? (and #24 evidently)

RHSP'er Tejay Antone has taken the #22 slot.

Please, discuss why you are voting for who you are voting for.....this is a slow time of the year so it's more than welcomed.

^If you are voting other, please make sure to tell me who the other vote is for in the comment section.

I pick Noah Davis as the breakout prospect of the year. He's about right at #23

Voted for Eric Yang again....for like the 5th straight time. Something I just noticed looking at his stats. The guy comes from Derek Dietrich school of hard knocks. He was HBP 36 times last year in just 371 AB's between NCAAA and Rookie ball!! Thats an even higher rate than DD had!

Miguel Medrano. Maybe a tad old for level at Billings as a 21 but not much. 60.1 /52hits/1.094 /2.1 W/9.8K/4.71 K to W. Hits well below one an inning, K's well above, excellent K to W ratio. Among our pitchers at the A level this year, he looks like one of the most interesting to me.

I voted Medrano again too. He had a really nice season out in Billings.

I went with with bonus baby, Minier. Don't know much about him except that he has a lot of tools. He could be a fast riser up our list or quietly fade away.

    Minier again for me. Ceiling.

He's a good sleeper pick. I like him to take a leap forward as well. Yet I voted for Yang. Heady catcher with a highly organized approach at the plate? That's the kind of guy who gets to the majors.

Switched to Minier since Ibandel was getting no traction. Upside, but who knows?, pick.

I'm shocked Minier is getting so much support when Triana is getting none.

Lol Minier did get a 38% higher bonus and both scouting reports seem equally optimistic. Triana will be under consideration for me when Minier is off the board.

BaseballAmerica recently released the top 100 INT signings of 2019 - Triana (who was signed for less) ranks #39, Minier ranks #65.

Re: 2019-2020: Who is the Reds #23 Prospect???

I voted Mac Sceroler. He's ready for AA and his 9.8 K/9 coupled with only 2.2 BB/9 results in a 4.38 K/BB ratio. His HR/9 of 1.0 looks pretty good as well. I should probably have started voting for him sooner. He's a little old for his league at 24, but guys who get K's without walking everybody are rare and one ready for AA needs to get our attention
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

The HR rate is artificially low due to A+ Florida State League.

The rest of the numbers look good, though. I like him to become a relief arm, at least.

I just want his name officially changed to Mac (Bay City) Sceroler.
