Wild Wild West was an absolute favorite when I was a kid (first run; I'm old). I think I liked the collage between scenes as much as the show. It just seems weird when I try to watch it now.

I have to watch "Centennial" at least every other year. Have a 1st Edition of the book. They followed it well.

My family watched Ba Ba Black Sheep. I remember him as quite the competitor on Celebrity Superstar competition. I believe he was a team leader or a coach. And how 'bout those battery commercials? Remember him coming out with a battery on his shoulder saying "I dare you to knock this off..."?

I agree with Kingspoint. Centennial, especially the first few episodes, was very well done and well cast, including Robert Conrad.
Sea Ray mentioned the old Celebrity Superstar competition. Back in the 1970s stars of NBC, CBS and ABC TV stars would compete on network teams against each other in various events, including an obstacle course run and a tug of war contest. I can still recall a tug of war contest in 1976 or 1977, where the NBC team included Robert Conrad, Dan Haggerty who played "Grizzly Adams" on a series , and Kurt Russell, who was starring in a one season western called "The Quest." The three of them with a couple of actresses made up the NBC team. Conrad and Russell were especially hyper-competitive (Russell was an excellent athlete). I can remember Russell's mouth bleeding as he had bit his tongue or lips trying so hard. I think NBC won.
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."

Their was a controversial ending to a race and Conrad was hot, he came up mouthing off to Mr Kotter and challenged him to a foot race thinking he would smoke him, Kotter won by 10 yards...it was great.

When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

Bob Conrad was a central figure in the greatest controversy of the 1970s.

I remember Conrad for the battery commercial most. Very effective commercial when you can still remember 40 years after the fact. I also remember him Baa Baa Black Sheep and being an over bearing competitor in the Battle of the Network Stars Shows.

Watching that video now...to think that I thought that was real at the time. That was obviously totally staged.

When that show ran, a retired member of the Black Sheep Squadron lived in the apartment above us (base housing). That was extremely cool to a military brat.

Never missed WWW. What a cast of characters each week. It was the wild west version of James Bond with a twist of Batman with it's guest star villains (lol)

[I can go back long enough to remember him in Hawaiian Eye ]

A few years later, the NBC team had Mark Harmon (St. Elsewhere) and Marc Singer (V), and the other teams had no chance. They were clearly the two best athletes on the field.
