Can’t stress enough how big a difference I think the change in attitude form the players will male. During the rebuild even though they are professional baseball players, the know the situation, the know it’s a tank and that the front office and some of the fans don’t care if they win. That makes a difference. The mentality alone could account for an extra 5 wins before you even add in the increase in talent.

I am delighted to hear the mentality seems to be a very united ‘It’s the World Series or nothing.’ I cannot wait for the season.

I’m going to go right ahead and toot my own horn. Since September of 2019 baseball season I have lost 60 lbs and am coming into this season at 6’2” 185 lbs and adding muscle by the day.

My family has booked a trip to Cincy to see the opening series, and then conveniently on to Toronto (which we would fly through anyway) to catch the second series.

I'm planning to go take in a game in L.A. for the first time ever. I wanted to then drive to Phoenix but my wife rightfully pointed out that that's the hottest time of the year in the hottest area of the country, so we'll save that trip for another year.

I was stranded in Phoenix a couple of days after 9/11. It reached 114 degrees. In September.

At one point I went for a walk, and when I got back to the hotel, I had a completely white face with red cricles around my lips. I wasn't sweating. I was so used to humidity that I didn't realize what was happening.
