Wasn’t Reed originally supposed to start? I wonder if that knee isn’t ready. Hope not.

Not baseball, but 62-year-old George Hood says he's in the best shape of his. Dude just set a world record by doing a plank for over 8 hours!

Jesse Winker said x-rays showed no fracture in his left wrist. He has a nice big bruise, but he got hit on the meaty part of the forearm/wrist. He was scared, but then relieved. Said he’ll be fine

'He has all the tools': Cincinnati Reds prospect José Garcia impressing in big-league campBobby Nightengale
@nightengalejr
It’s easy to sense excitement around José Garcia’s potential - even before he hit HRs and doubles in spring games.
Delino DeShields: “He’s going to be a good player. Cincinnati should be excited to see this young man one day.”
https://amp.cincinnati.com/amp/48811...mpression=trueGarcia says he's just trying to soak up information from his teammates during his first big-league camp. He’s had a lot of chats with shortstop Freddy Galvis and third baseman Eugenio Suárez. Galvis is a free agent at the end of the upcoming season, so the Reds are hoping Garcia can take a big step with his development.
During Monday’s workout, Garcia worked with DeShields, Barry Larkin and bench coach Freddie Benavides after batting practice on turning double plays when he was shifted to a spot where the second baseman usually plays.
Larkin was asked what he liked about Garcia’s skillset and he briefly paused.
“I like his work acumen first,” Larkin said. “I like his aptitude. He’s got a high baseball IQ. He’s got good anticipation. He’s got a great body for a shortstop. Length, strength, speed, quickness, agility. You can tell, there’s not much I don’t like.”
“I think he has all the tools to do it,” Larkin said. “I mean, look at him. It’s amazing. But he plays correctly. He gets to the ball. He’s under control. He’s got a great knack for the game. He’s got good baseball IQ.
“All those factors together, I would suspect if he doesn’t have injuries and has an opportunity to go and compete every day, I don’t see a reason why he wouldn’t be successful and knock on the door, for sure.”

Piggy-backing on Ron's post, this is the part that jumped out at me. Scary!
Although listed at 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, Garcia had bulked up to 200 pounds over last season. But a trip home to Cuba at the start of his offseason proved problematic physically.
Garcia was bitten by a mosquito and contracted Dengue fever, which WebMD.com notes is related to the viruses that cause the West Nile infection and yellow fever. The Dengue fever caused Garcia to lose 20 pounds.
“Thank God, I’ve been able to recuperate and over the offseason, I was able to get that weight back,” Garcia said. “I wasn’t worried about it. I knew it was just something that would pass by. But I also knew I’d have to work really hard to get back into shape for Spring Training.”
Next Reds manager, second shooter. --Confirmed on Redszone.
