Not sure Bauer will leave. That guy is just different enough that you really can't tell.

It's also not fair to hold something against the front office completely out of their control...

which is why i said it's not the reds' fault, it's just the way it is. and who knows, maybe it will still work out in the reds' favor.

Reds ace Trevor Bauer says shortened MLB season 'better than the alternative, which is not playing'

When asked by host Bill Hemmer about MLB's handling of the pandemic, Bauer, who has been vocal during the Major League Baseball Players Association's fight with team owners over compensation for the shortened season, told host Bill Hemmer it was a "loaded question."

"There are a lot of different aspects to look at," he said. "I think the public negotiation part of it ... immediately turned the conversation from health and safety to the dollar amount. It wasn’t even a proposal. It was strictly to judge public sentiment and pit the fans against the players.

"I don’t know any other business that would intentionally drive a wedge between their customer base and their product," he said. "It does not make any sense."

he did good on his first start... even showed us why he was put out to the curb.. when he turned to throw the ball to center... he caught himself, but it may be time to move him before he losses it again

    He was joking...

After Bauer struck out Cron with a 94 mph fastball to open the seventh inning, Bell emerged from the dugout. Bauer then mimicked a controversial 2019 moment when he pretended to throw the ball into center field as Terry Francona pulled him from what would be his final start for Cleveland.

"Just having fun, trying to keep the game light and entertaining for the fans," Bauer said. "I get worn out about it a lot. Everyone on Twitter is like, ‘Oh, go throw the ball over center field like a baby,’ or ‘Have another temper tantrum,' whatever the case is. So, I figured I’d give the trolls something to chew on."

Am I quaran-starved or was that wildly entertaining?
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
