    No way....he's just saying that for his channel IMO. I mean...I've thought about a lot of things that I was never remotely close to doing.

    He said it himself that he’s hangry. It happens to the best of us.

    Trevor Bauer deadpanned about his routine for tomorrow's start: "I’m used to having offseasons, and doing my offseason routines, so I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life coming into camp." It'll be his 1st start in 12 days.

    What is the small round object under Bauer’s shirt on his upper back?

    A monitor

    He monitors his heart rate during the game and I think it also measures something else. But uses the biometric data to correlate with performance.

    Hope they let him unwind the dbl header and pitch on short rest in St Louis this Sun.

    You know he will be pushing for the start

    As I said in the game thread, don't shorten his rest.

    Given how many pitcher injuries we've seen this year and Bauer's noticeable loss in velocity previously, no reason to screw around.

    ESPN Stats & Info
    @ESPNStatsInfo

    FROM ELIAS: Trevor Bauer is the first pitcher in Modern MLB history to strike out 40 batters and allow fewer than 10 hits over his first 4 starts of a season.
    Does anyone know how they're defining "Modern"?

    Looks like more Bauer stretching out the boundaries of baseball. Not that he uses it for nefarious purposes, but aren’t there rules about using electronic devices on the playing field? I wonder if this device collects data within its own storage and gets downloaded later or if it communicates to some external server and it collects the data in real time?

    Stores it. Downloads later. No Wifi, bluetooth or short range

    The Indians used them somehow. Not sure if it was a spring training thing one year or what, can't quite remember, but Bauer continued.

    Seems that players have a real big issue with teams downloading any kind of medical data on them, so it kind of fizzled out as a team wide thing, but Bauer as he is apt to do carried on collecting the data for himself.
