https://ftw.usatoday.com/2020/03/chr...-interceptionsWinston is clearly talented, and Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians says his former quarterback is one of the hardest workers he’s ever been around. This week, the 26-year-old got another endorsement from Tampa Bay when WR Chris Godwin told The Boardroom that “half” of Winston’s 30 interceptions were due to mistakes by receivers.
Via The Tampa Bay Times:
“I definitely think he got more of the blame than he deserved,” Godwin added. “I think he’s a really, really talented quarterback. Obviously there are things that he does that you can’t teach. And there are plays that he made that just weren’t smart plays. But a lot of the mistakes and interceptions that he made, I would say half of them were because of a bad read on someone else’s part. … The great thing about him is he’s not going to go out there and throw anybody under the bus. He’s going to own up to it, he’s going to take it, and he’s going to be a leader. And there’s respect to that.”
not sure if it was half, but still glad Godwin is speaking out for Winston. Every QB has interceptions that were not his fault, but Winston had more than most. I can recall 2 imperfect passes that a great TE would have caught, but went off OJ's hands and were picked. There were a handful of others where Winston was visibly upset with a receiver for a read or pattern. Combine that with the "no risk it, no biscuit" 7 step drop scheme, and a QB will have more than a few interceptions. I am not saying many or even most were not partly or fully on Winston, but the narrative of Winston being a terrible QB is way over done. I am one of the minority of Bucs fans that are not a 100% sure the organization went in the right direction at QB this summer. A lot of QB's in the NFL would not have been able to put up over 5k yards and 30+ TD's in Tampa Bay last season.
No draft war rooms:

What if someone hacked into it and traded the #1 pick to Miami?

Then Miami would still blow it and pick Tua.

Roger Goodell is a fool.
From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports "certain coaches and front-office staffers" are reluctant to have IT employees in their homes for fear of spreading the COVID-19 virus.
It's the first true hang-up execs have experienced since the league announced it would be ignorantly pushing forward with this year's draft. Not only are some coaches and front-office members concerned about sharing their homes with IT employees, some of the latter have also reportedly voiced their concerns about going into others homes to equip them. With a handful of general managers and head coaches continuing to push back, it will be interesting to hear Commissioner Roger Goodell's response to any who audibly oppose his iron fist. This new development likely won't effect the draft from commencing as scheduled on April 23.

League employees and Owners need to tell Goodell to stick it where the sun don't shine.

Goodell needs to be sued for trying to put employees in danger of harm and death under the current labor laws (which doesn't even consider the threat to other family members).
