I gotta say it....... And this one belongs to the Reds! Reds win 9-6.

So, we got 6 hits but received 10 walks. Oh well, it's Spring Training. We'll take it

I don’t understand, would this be a bad outcome in the regular season? (Other than being boring to watch).

    Video of the Castellanos double.

    And the always-funny Votto hustle.
He runs like a 60-year old man. I doubt if he ever again scores from 1st on a Double. He will turn a lot of Doubles into Singles because he can't get to third on time and won't even attempt to. There needs to be a negative stat for that and there isn't. Could see that happening 25 times during the season and another 25 times where he doesn't score from 2nd on a solid Single where anyone else on the team would score. He needs to be pinch-ran for regularly in late-innings of close games.

Easy scenario where Votto gets to 1st. A Double is hit behind him, but he turns it into a Single. Runners 1st and 2nd. Another Double is hit behind him, but Votto turns that into a Single. Bases loaded. Next guy out. Nobody scores on a Walk-Double-Double.

It means that the Reds took advantage of much largess bestowed upon them by the other team. This isn't something they can count on happening much during the season
