I guess i just won't be able to hitch hike through GABP.. I dragged an old orange backpack all over the western United States back in my hitch hiking days when for some silly reason I thought it was a good idea to hitch hike into the teeth of a blizzard.. Hint: it's really a lousy idea, but I survived...barely.. I made it to Montana and back in a blizzard once.. The only award I won was that of being known as the dumb kid who did it. But hey...I did meet a sweet young lady and spent a night of warm bliss in a motel room somewhere in Utah.. Those were the days!
    Yeah..I know..pics or it didn't happen.. LOL

For those with young kids and medical needs:

“The exception to the policy will be diaper bags, personal medical bags, and the Reds Heads backpack, which will be able to be brought into the ballpark as long as they are inspected.”

Then it happened one day, we came round the same way

was the one little thing that you can

    Love's young dreams...

Taped this to the wall next to my T.A. office door...in a decidedly different era.

    Strawberries

    There were never strawberries
    like the ones we had
    that sultry afternoon
    sitting on the step
    of the open french window
    facing each other
    your knees held in mine
the blue plates in our laps
    the strawberries glistening
    in the hot sunlight
    we dipped them in sugar
    looking at each other
    not hurrying the feast
    for one to come
    the empty plates
    laid on the stone together
    with the two forks crossed
    and I bent towards you
    sweet in that air
    in my arms
    abandoned like a child
    from your eager mouth
    the taste of strawberries
    in my memory
    lean back again
    let me love you

    let the sun beat
    on our forgetfulness
    one hour of all
    the heat intense
    and summer lightning
    on the Kilpatrick hills

let the storm wash the plates

That sounds wonderful. I wished I had been more adventurous when I was young. I could never see myself hitchhiking. Reminds me of the Jack Reacher books.

But they’re still selling backpacks on their website. Gotta love MLB and their stupid rules.

No blackjacks, that's an outrage. Now they've gone too far.
