Interesting article. But I’m not sure he’s the right guy to increase MLB’s popularity though. He comes across as a button-downed conservative lawyer-type. I think he loves the game but just like Selig before him, he serves the owners and not the game itself. Much of the article documents his missteps (such as social medias role in the latest labor strife) but I think he has learned a lot. Time will tell if he re-ups at the end of his term in 2024.
