really a shady move by youtubetv. either do the deal where people can keep the channels they had, or don't do a deal at all. going half-in like this is just bad business. makes them look untrustworthy.

This come up on my TV when I signed in tonight in Northern KY. (it made me sign back in for some reason). And I just went to the channel and it’s there. The game replay is on right now.
Same here. But Fox Sports South is gone. I used to get it too.

It seems to depend on your location.

I’m in northern Indiana and lost ALL of the Fox RSN channels.

    Others have had different experiences.

I have opened a Hulu account but I’m going to test drive ExpressVPN because I’m expecting to need one in the future if I want to watch the Reds.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if Direct tv dropped the hammer on them. Sinclair could go bankrupt and contract becomes void. This system is so screwed up. The fans are the only real losers.
I have DirecTV; so I would be very pissed, that's what would happen

Disney's not involved in this. They had to sell off all the Regional Fox Sports Networks as part of the merger with 20th Century Fox. FSO, STO and all the other RSNs are owned by Sinclair, which also owns a crapton of local OTA broadcast channels. They are the new Evil Empire you should be worrying about.

And Spectrum is just Time-Warner under a different, less toxic name.

They have been doing this in the Los Angeles market for six years. Anyone who doesn't have Spectrum, can't watch Dodger games in LA. It's crazy. That's over half the Dodger fans who can't watch their games.

Picked Hulu back up. YTTV format much easier to navigate , they don’t carry MLB channel( missing several spring training games), costs more, and limited DVR.

I greatly dislike the Sinclair propaganda network and hope they fail in business.

A deal was worked out a couple days ago. YouTube Tv will carry regional Fox Sports throughout the season. Perhaps the title of the thread should be changed?

I could be understanding you incorrectly but I have Hulu and when I have the VPN on my firestick turned on Hulu doesn't work. The MLB TV app does work with a VPN. That is the route that I go. I don't need the VPN very often since I am in central Illinois. Just when the Reds play the Cardinals, Cubs or Whitesox.

Yes and no. A ton of people who used to get Fox Sports (insert city) on YoutubeTV no longer get it, even after the deal was reached. https://awfulannouncing.com/local-ne...-networks.html
