And not that it affects this season but "sources" were saying Comcast would drop the RSNs in September if prices stay as they are.
We had experience with Comcast when my son was in college. They were always doing stupid things and when you called, they were very rude and would argue with you. What ever happened to the goal was making money? Now, they want to make big money on everything. Seems like every 2 months, cable loses a station while they argue over money. Cable is the Great Satan.

Pleased to hear about the extension and I hope they can get things worked out. I have Gameday Audio as a backup!

I'm thinking about MLB on my Playstation - its $94 for just the Reds games. I used to do it and liked it. BTW I live in Michigan.

You can get ALL teams for $86 if you do the MLBPAA trick referenced earlier.

53 cents for each Reds game seems like a good deal.

Just renewed my MLB subscription but got a notice on the email saying that blue jays games are going to be blacked out. I'm not a Jays Fan but what the hell??? I guess I kidded myself thinking MLB TV would be total access and now it's not. I may not renew my subscription next year

I live in Iowa. I don’t want to here about how you can’t watch one team. 1/5 of all MLB teams are blacked out in this state. It’s an absolute joke.

what is mlb thinking with this blackout nonsense? even locally it would be dumb. but blacking out people who live 200 miles from cincinnati? what is seriously the logic there? no one is sitting around saying on a random weeknight, "well, i was going to hop in the car and drive 400 miles round trip to the reds game tonight. but now that i see it's available online i'm going to just stay home." how incredibly dumb. it doesn't even affect me and it pisses me off because it hurts the long-term viability of the game.

So if you subscribe to mlbtv and use your VPN network, what broadcasters will you be getting for the game? Tom and Chris?
