The only concern on the list for me is Ervin. You know Casali, Garrett, Stephenson are pretty much locks to make the MLB roster. Ervin is likely on the roster but with the crowded OF he's a little more shaky ground. Schebbler and Reed will be optioned down and see if they clear waivers.

Ervin is a lock for the team IMO. He has killed LHP his entire career and has had great spring and is out of options. MLB teams would be crawling over themselves to get him would he be sent down.

Finnegan is my breakout surprise player for 2020, so I'm sticking with him. But I think he's probably closer to a May callup than an OD roster guy. Around May 1, the Reds seem to deal with bad pen pitchers by calling on the L'ville pen. Finnegan could be a top option. He's had one bad outing. Prior to that he was doing pretty well. The results matter less than the mechanics, and he's Boddy's big reclamation project.

IMO, it bodes far better for the Reds long term if he succeeds.

I do admire your occasional embrace of hopeless causes.
    I'm not a system player. I am a system.

Schebler and Davidson are the obvious ones to me.

I'm not saying it was Garrett and Stephenson's fault, but let's be honest they were both spotty at times. Good guys to have in the pen last year and I'm glad they are back, but I expect them to both be better this year. In fact, if they don't at least match what they did last year, we are in a lot of trouble.
it was so "sneaky good" that no one in baseball noticed. certainly not the reds' opponents.
