    Yes I remember that name, Chuck Dobson, from my youth. I think I would get him and Pat Dobson mixed up. Pat was a better pitcher for a longer time but it sounds like Chuck had some good seasons too. RIP to another cardboard hero.

    Chuck Dobson was Reggie Jackson's roommate on the road with the A's -- one of the first pairings of a white player and a black player as roommates in MLB during the turbulent 60's.

    In 2016, Richie Lewis appeared with Deion Sanders on Dr. Phil in an intervention over Lewis' alcoholism and depression issues. (Prime was Lewis' friend and former teammate at Florida State and with the 1997 Reds.)
