    also at dodger camp in 1986 was perranoski at the end of the camp the campers faced the dodgers perranoski was the pitcher when I batted,, I pulled a colon and grounded weakly to shortstop

    I haven't been keeping up on this and just noticed Johnstone's obit on the NY Times site.

    I had forgotten that Johnstone was as old as he was.

    . Listened to Sirius XM’s MLB Network Radio on Demand episode of Remember When. Great story of when Johnstone used to mess with Lasorda when playing for the Dodgers. One was he took all of Tommy’s celebrity pictures (Sinatra etc) off his office wall and replaced with a picture of himself (Johnstone) and other teammates.
