I looked over the list of personnel who died in 2020 to find a manager, and it looks like Eddie Kasko will serve as player/manager. Kasko managed the Red Sox for four years (1970-73) and never had a losing season.

Ron Perranoski would be the logical choice to be player/pitching coach, and Billy DeMars and Tommy Sandt will round out the coaching staff.

Even though I couldn't stand Lasorda when he was a coach and then manager of the Dodgers he was really good for the game because of his enthusiasm for the sport. RIP Tommy Lasorda.

The 2021 Field of Dreams Team signs their first player of the year, a diminutive left-handed reliever. He seems unlikely to make the final 25-man roster (or even the final 40-man roster), but looks to be solid coaching or managerial material.

    Transactions
    Signed LHP Tommy Lasorda.

1/10/2021...ex Yankee, Indian: Pedro Gonzalez (Olivares), age 83. One of the first players in MLB from the Dominican Republic. His 1963 topps rookie card is very expensive.
