Missed that one. Was engaging in family time.

Those MLB Network Presents shows have been on a lot that one probably will be on again pretty soon.

For those who enjoy baseball books, I wholeheartedly recommend all of Jay Johnstone's. They're remarkably entertaining.

I fire up the YouTube to rewatch the glory days. Watched the whole 1976 World Series last week and on to the 1990 World Series this week. Saw Game One last night. I have a good feeling the Reds are going to take care of business.

I set my DVR to record them all some time back, and haven't yet watched a single one. Now I have my chance.

How about baseball fiction? This just came out and is getting a lot of buzz:

I finally read The Art of Fielding a few months ago and loved it.

Because their annual Boston St Patrick's show was cancelled, Dropkick Murphys just livestreamed an audienceless show on Facebook and YouTube.

The Art of Fielding was excellent. I might have to reread that one.

Best performance I ever saw in a MLB game

    Bo Jackson

I saw Bo in 1990 at this game https://www.baseball-reference.com/b...99008300.shtml

    I was amazed:

    He singled
    He stole second
He hit a HR off Dennis Eckersly (one of two he gave up that season)
He threw a guy out at third
He threw a guy out at home

Easily the best position player game I ever witnessed

    The Royals also lost

Yeah. You don't even want to catch a cold in your area right now.

I think Bo Jackson is the best athlete ever. To my mind, this is my all-time greatest defensive play ever:
