Actually, the Reds scored 7 of the runs in the first inning off Jim Clancy (who didn't record an out), and 7 more off Bob Forsch before the inning was over. Forsch actually didn't pitch too badly -- 7 innings of relief, allowing 10 runs (7 of them in the first inning).

Concepcion singled to tie the game, stole second but just barely, and then scored the go-ahead run on Griffey's double. Rawly Eastwick recorded three fly-outs in the ninth to close it out.

For 17 consecutive innings, the batted balls found their ways into the gloves of the opponent. And then, suddenly and bizarrely, a few of them found the grass.

Great call out! If we don’t win that game, we may just become the Indians of the 1990’s.

1972 (I think) game 5 of NLCS against Pittsburgh. Bench leads off bottom of 9th with game tying HR and then Foster scores winning run on a wild pitch.

Votto's 3 HR game on Mothers Day with a grand slam to beat the Brewers.

Dunn's was moreso just an amazing comeback, not bizarre. Junior getting a inside-the-parker definitely counts, though - great one.

Are there any walk-off balks? lol

I think someone mentioned in another thread a while back that the Reds beat the Braves in ATL off a bunt by Wilton Guerrero (I think.) It was basically a Little League HR. It wasn't a walkoff since it was in Atlanta but pretty bizarre nonetheless.

As a 12 year old, listening to this game on the radio is a memory that sticks out.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

All three were on the Reds' 1990 World Champion club only a year later.

In Treviño's case, he was a "once and future Red" in this game.

June 30, 1999 v. Arizona was a pretty bizarre game. I was fortunate to have seats at field level, close enough to hear how hard it was to bat against the Big Unit.
The whole game, I was convinced Villone was going to implode, man his pitching drove me crazy.

I was at that game, too. Dmitri Young hit a home run to the moon off Johnson in the first inning. We had seats by the visitors bullpen, and watched Johnson warm up. The thing I remember is you could actually hear his fastball! It hissed like a snake!!

I attended three games that year that Ron Villone started (all Reds wins). In those three games, Villone pitched 21 innings and allowed 3 hits.

    June 14 (8-4 win vs. Mets): (ND), 5 IP, 3 R, 1 H, 3 K, 7 BB

    June 30 (2-0 win vs. D-Backs): (W, 3-2), 8 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 7 K, 2 BB

    July 21 (1-0 win vs. Cardinals): (W, 5-3), 8 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 5 K, 2 BB

You should have attended more, they could have avoided the Al Leiter wipeout.

Not a win, but my vote for most bizarre game was Reds-Mets July 22, 1986. Ejections, dramatic comeback, big fight, pitchers swapped out to the OF. Trouble was, the Reds lost. I really hated that era Mets.

I did attend two other games that season -- Opening Day (an 11-8 loss to the Giants), and a 7-6 win over the Astros on April 25.
