Played in Indianapolis...Wayne Gretzky, Peyton Manning, Reggie Miller and Hank Aaron.
From Indy...Oscar Robertson, Oscar Charleston, Major Taylor and John Wooden?
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

How can there be a Mount Rushmore of Cincinnati without Bob Shreve and the Kwik Brothers on it? Not possible.
Oklahoma is interesting...
1. Thorpe
2. Mantle
Then it gets tough to choose two from Sanders, Bench, Hubbell and Nancy Lopez (won 3 majors, 2nd seven times, 4 POY all while taking multiple years off during the peak of her career to have children).
Personally, I would go with Lopez and Sanders because both of them dominated their peers in their sports more than Bench and Hubbell did (and I became a Catcher and a REDS' fan because of Bench and I still say Lopez and Sanders were more dominant athletes, comparing more to Mantle than to Bench).

I would start any Alabama Mt. Rushmore with Jesse Owens and then go from there.
