By the way, where DO you get a gasoline suit? At Siebler, or Marathon?

I agree. And during this "down time" that could be a solid separate thread discussion (lol)

I watched the 1971 WS Game 7 last night. Orioles vs Pirates. Weaver vs Murtaugh. The very first inning here come Weaver charging out, stopping play (twice) to protest that Blass' foot was not keeping contact with the rubber, and that he was going to his mouth too much. A little psychological warfare (lol)

    A little trivia...

What player said "I don't believe in color"?

Not necessary a baseball quote, but I think it applies:

Re: Share Your Favorite Baseball Quotes

There could be a subtopic to this thread for play-by-play/color analysts.

Obv Marty’s ATOBTTR, and Joe’s “roundin’ third and heading for home.”

I also chuckle every time Cowboy says, “And you can kiss the baby,” and “alligator armed” to describe a high-and-tight swing-and-miss. “Right down broadway” is another standard issue Cowboy-ism.

Also Dan Patrick’s lines from 90’s Sportscenter, “as cool as the other side of the pillow,” “en fuego,” and “he’s leaving, that means more beer for us” when a pitcher comes out.
