I heard a doctor talking and his guess was that the first wave of Corona would die down around late June or early July and that the government would try to get the economy started again. Then there would be a second wave of Corona in the fall when the weather got cooler. Is that an accurate position? Who knows, but you have to figure people are planning around that. So that's around when the draft is normally held. It still makes sense to have the draft. Sure, there will be less info, but lets face it, after the first round, it's a crap shoot anyhow, and most of the first round picks are known by now .. sure a couple guys might rise up.. but it's rare for an unknown to suddenly become a first round draft pick.. Most of the "risers" were going to be drafted anyhow.
Really, the only reason not to have the draft is to save money, as Doug said.. Not a good reason in my opinion, but money rules, so it may happen.
