I think Dan Dressien was signed from one of those. I attended 2 in Indianapolis, unfortunately I wasn’t signed but I was one of 8 guys kept after to hit.

A friend of mine who I went all the way from Kindergarten to high school with. Used to get letters in mail from Reds scouts all the time from about 8th grade till the 10th.
He was a leftie and really threw hard. Ended up hurting his arm I believe it was his Junior year.
He continued to pitch but had nothing left after the injury.
