Plus despite how awful DD was for the last half of the season he still finished with a 1.0 oWAR for the season, which is just 0.2 WAR off 2nd place on this team (Winker had a 1.2 oWAR, and Aquino was 1.1 oWAR). Average is an important stat but in todays age of sabremetric it's not nearly as meaningful as it was 20 years ago. Keep in mind that's with a bum shoulder to boot.Originally Posted by M2
