    West Virginia native, from deep down in Raleigh County. I usually have one song or another by him on my playlist; lately it's been "Lovely Day".

    My wife's dad worked at the coal camp Withers was born, Slab Fork,WVA. The mines is long gone now.

    Withers was a great song writer and had some very great songs that will always stand the test of time. RIP Bill Withers. Thanks for the great music.
