Looking for parks in Cincinnati with paths or trails for walking

I’ve been taking my dog over to Devou on days when the weather is good, they have a handful of long paved walking paths and trails over there. I’m wondering if any of the other parks around here have anything similar? The only other place I tend to go to is Burnet Woods, but the paths they have are pretty short. I would prefer paved paths/sidewalks if any other park has them, my dog is older and I want to limit how much climbing he’d have to deal with, but simple trails are good too.

I’m looking at Mt Airy too, not sure if they have what I’m talking about or not.

I used to work for Great Parks, mainly at Sharon and Winton Woods. Nice trails at both parks. They might be a little farther away than what your looking for though.

That’s fine with me, maybe 15 minutes from where I’m at in Camp Washington

One of my favorite walks when I lived in Cincinnati was the trail in Ault Park, behind the stone pavilion. There are a number of good places in Mt. Airy as well and you'd be surprised how many trails exist within some of the urban forests as well. Since the town is built on some hilly terrain, there remain areas that will not be developed. For instance, the Western Wildlife Corridor does habitat rehabilitation and maintains the Bender Mountain Trail, which for many years was known to young people who wanted to find a way to party in a place that was remote but still close by. The "Mountain" has a ledge on the hillside that is not visible from the streets below, known as Sister's Hill, due to the land being on the Mt. St. Joseph Convent property. Don't ask me how I know that.

Not sure of distance, but I like otto Armleder park as it connects with Lunken playfield trail.

Aside from what’s already been mentioned, Rowe Woods (Cincinnati Nature Center) is great. Mt. Airy Forest is also great. If it’s not too morbid and you’re ok with hills, walking through Spring Grove Cemetery is both beautiful and eerie.

Rowe Woods and Ault Park are probably my two favorites.

I'll second this. My wife's family lives right near there and we go for walks there when we are in town. Not sure how long either, but when you connect it to Lunken it's quite a ways, but it's nice and flat and good for older dogs.

Parts of it do flood sometimes, so just keep that in mind if it's been raining a lot.

Out here on the west side, you could check out both Whitewater and Fernbank. Whitewater has anywhere from a short mile or two loop to an 8 mile path. Fernbank is close to 2 miles along the river. Smale park and then walking along the serpentine wall may not be a bad choice for you.

One of my favorites are the Shawnee Lookout Trails out west of town. The Miami Fort trail there takes you to the confluence of the Great Miami and Ohio Rivers. A really cool and powerful spot. This is my favorite.

    Miami-Whitewater is great too.

Out east of town,Withrow Nature Preserve and Woodland Mound are great too.

In general, the greater Cincinnati has a lot of good trails.
