How many Top players decide to go back to School rather than sign the new delayed bonus plan? Do teams lose slot money still if players drafted in the first Five Rounds refuse to sign?
I would guess every player drafted will sign, but maybe I’m missing something. The delayed payout won’t be a factor, but a loaded 2021 draft (and overall uncertainty with prep and college play) due to this year’s rules will push the guys lucky to be drafted into running into pro ball as quickly as they can.
