I mean, the amount of levity from Bengals fans to question if someone would hesitate to come here was and will continue to be amazing.

The thing that sold me on Burrow was his on field interview after the playoff game. He didn't relish the moment. He talked about having unfinished business.

Joe Burrow's Bengals don't lose that game against the Steelers.

I mean, it doesn’t make sense. They’ve only had a few exceptionally bad seasons in the last 17 years, and they’ve only really had 2 QBs that they did a pretty good job of developing during that time. They’re not the Browns.

Yeah, seems like an odd comp.

edit: But that would be great for the Bengals (and a little ironic).

The thing that sold me on Joe Burrow was his entire 2019 - 2010 season. In the SEC. Against perhaps the toughest schedule in the nation. (Clemson, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Auburn, and Florida were all top 10 teams.) And all he did was have the single greatest season in college football history.

The organization and Mike Brown is known to nationally be a joke. As little as Bengals fans think the national media knows about Cincinnati, they know less about how little the national media views the Bengals. Losing 5 straight 4:00pm Saturday playoff games does nothing but help that image.

With that said, Burrow does feel different.

It's a wrap. But...maybe they will trade up.

Perhaps they mean he's unflappable? Great in the clutch?

Perhaps it's his timing and ability to read quickly (and take some yardage rather than none)?

Bengals had to take Burrow, but I won't be surprised if Tua is a better NFL QB. Depends on him getting healthy, obviously.
