    R.I.P. Irrfan Khan

Khan, 53, passed away from cancer this past Wednesday in his native India. He's survived by his wife and two children.

Khan revealed in March 2018 that he had been diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine tumor, an abnormal growth that begins in the body's specialized neuroendocrine cells, he had been undergoing chemotherapy.

Khan starred in over 150 bollywood and hollywood films, and was best internationally known for playing a police inspector in “Slumdog Millionaire,” the hit British movie about a young man who wins the top prize on a TV game show. Khan was also known to U.S. audiences for appearances in action films such as “The Amazing Spider-Man” (2012) and “Jurassic World” (2015) as well as the 2012 adventure film “Life of Pi,” which was nominated for a Golden Globe award for best picture.

    Goodbye Irrfan.
I remember him as the adult Pi Patel...fascinating movie. I didn't see any of his other works.

    May he rest in peace.
