yeah, he did the Achilles checklist for a while....even Bilas initially was concerned it was his Achilles. There was not much contact on the play, he immediately grabbed that area, had to be helped off the court, and appeared to be in extreme pain doing the whole towel over the head like "my season is over". Then he goes back to locker room...takes him about 10 minutes to get back there as he moves 6" at a time....soon after he is in the hallway jumping and warming up!

Did you watch the game....1st and 2nd Half?

Several lead changes in the last minute or so. That was a whale of a game.

Side thought after watching D.J Carton in a Marquette uniform: What may have been for Ohio State hoops (mainly from the standpoint of depth) If only Carton and Kaleb Wesson were still Buckeyes instead of transferring and remaining in the NBA draft, respectively.

Could still be knocking the rust off, but Carton hasn't been especially good for Marquette. He's been a pretty low efficiency scorer and appears to be doing a pretty poor Markus Howard impersonation.

Garcia came in with hype, but Lewis has been dynamite thus far. Probably find a tougher go of it in the physical Big East, but he's thick with a 7'2" wingspan. Not afraid to mix it up and has a surprisingly good stroke.

#7 Kansas had a difficult time beating North Dakota State University today 65-61. NDSU held the lead the entire 2nd half until 1:21 left in the game. Not a great look for Kansas, but NDSU was coming off a game where they also played #11 Creighton tough, so they are probably better than their 0-4 record.

the WVU/Georgetown game was ugly basketball also. I am sure it is recency bias, but it seems like early season college basketball is worse this year than past years.....and November and December are always pretty ugly.

I know it's super early, but really interesting to have a season where none of Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas or UCLA are particularly good.

I think Kansas is clearly a Top 10 team....you disagree?

I mean, they might be top 10, but I doubt they're top 5. For Kansas, that's not that good. But they seem to clearly be the best of that bunch for now.
