Surprised not too see a thread (may have missed it) on this. I haven’t watched the video, I just can’t watch stuff like that.

The whole thing is seriously ****ed up though.

There's probably a thread on the political board as topics like this generally get covered there. Awful story.

Yeah had a look there and couldn’t see it. Wasn’t sure where to post it.

Political would have been the spot.
Bud Selig: "I'm the worst commissioner ever"
    Rob Manfred: "Hold my beer"

Is it political? This seems like something that should have about 100% universal outrage. I'm not even sure what the other side would be.

Looking at the history of cases like these, I’m not even sure these two guys will be convicted. This shouldn’t be political, but I can guarantee that it will be.

They will be convicted. No question.

Yeah, this is basically open and shut. But, yknow.

Said about numerous other similar cases in which there was no conviction.

Michael Drejka just got 20 years, and this case is much more egregious. These two basically sat there and waited for him, and Ahmaud even ran around the passenger side to avoid confrontation. Times, they are a changin'.

Plus, the son is the epitome of a dumb hillbilly. The media will have a field day, and the feds will climb all over the local police department. This will be fun.

A few more recent cases give hope. But I could easily list a few dozen counter examples. Stand Your Ground laws makes cases like these tricky.

They really don't. Stand your ground laws are fine. This wasn't.

I agree this isn’t a stand your ground case. But I’m guessing that these two will claim it is.
