"Rol-Tanguy also helped to educate people about the history of the resistance struggle by successfully advocating for the reopening of the Musée de la Libération de Paris, which occurred in August 2019. In this process, the Museum was moved to the Ledoux Pavilionson on Place Denfert-Rochereau, the location from which she and her husband launched the insurrection that led to the liberation of Paris in late summer 1944."

Most stories omit the first line from her wiki:
Cécile Rol-Tanguy (10 April 1919 – 8 May 2020) was a French communist.

There's no reason for that. Ignorance, I guess about what Communism meant in the 1930's when she and her father were members. They aren't much different than the U.S. Democratic Party of today, berating the wealthy and demanding that they give what they have earned to the poor and the middle class. In many ways, they were far superior in their ideals than the U.S. Democratic Party of today in that they fought tooth and nail against Fascicm making them great enemies of the Nazi's and Mussolini's followers. Her Father was a communist party leader in France while also volunteering to fight in the Spanish Civil War. That Lenin and Stalin abused the system showed why it would never work, but the principles were morally good for those who believed in everyone being able to live above a poverty level of life. Personally, I don't believe in communism or socialism, and while so many refuse to admit it, it's capitalism why people die in their attempts to get into this country, while nobody ever dies in their attempt to get out.
