Okay, this is incorrect.

I posted a link to video once, very recently that was in my twitter feed, (posted the entire link so it wasn’t “plagiarism”) and was told that it was from awhile ago. I Immediately apologized and corrected my mistake. The link I provided didn’t mention it wasn’t recent, so I had no idea.

I have not done this multiple times. And definitely not intentionally.

You are wrong about this. Please, either provide multiple examples of this, or admit you are making a false accusation.

I have seen it multiple times. Just making a statement. If I have time later I will pull up other examples if you would like. It definitely is not an isolated instance. I was not making it a attack, I just have seen it a number of times.

It's hysterical that you see nothing wrong with the plagarism here BuckeyeRed. It's plain as day that what 75 posted was an edited Nate Silver tweet. That's all forgiven and forgetten.

Speaking of “by Day 14” I believe we are at Day 9/10 post-Lake of the Ozarks.

I’ve seen articles involving positive cases from people there (but it didn’t claim they caught it there) - any numbers in on this yet? (A few days to go till Day 14)

That was a draft model, not a forecast. It had a range of 750-15000 deaths per day. It's basically an input model that can be used to simulate different factors. The article even said that, which I guess you are calling "hemmed and hawed".

The modeling has generally been very good, unfortunately. Modeling accurately predicted the shape of curves like New York, Detroit and New Orleans that had huge spikes and huge pullbacks. Modeling has accurately predicted the low curves with the long plateau's like we have in Ohio and a lot of other places.

750-15000 is a huge range and even at that they missed it. By definition, that makes it worthless

I don’t think this is cool. You literally copied and pasted Nate‘s tweet but deleted the parts that did not fit the narrative. Nate explained in the tweet that you copied and paste did that some of the numbers shown are probably due to the Memorial Day holiday. Which is why in the same tweet he also listed the two weeks ago numbers.

Thanks for that enlightenment. I was confused and as is 757690's habit, he included no link. If he got it from Nate that's fine, but include a link to his Tweet or whatever. Once again, thanks for clearing that up.

I did not delete anything. I did not copy this from Nate Silver. I got this from a friend. I actually noted that Memorial Day likely played a role in the numbers, because that seemed logical. If my friend did delete part of it, that is wrong, I agree. I will take that up with them.

My apologies for the unintentional incomplete data.

In the future please give a link. If it's merely from a friend, say so. This is a standard I'm held to around here. It's only fair that you're held to it as well

Hope it goes well, Vegas has been hit very hard. I'm sure we will get a few "Lake of the Ozark" videos from the Vegas pools on Saturday.

As for the protests, a lot of the pictures you are shown (not all of them, and may be a bad sample size) people are masked. Now this won't stop people from contracting the virus, and yelling and screaming are great spreaders of the virus. But it will be interesting to see what happens on the Covid 19 front. You have masks, UV Light, warmer weather, all thought to be good preventers of the virus at play here.
