Fort Wayne, Indiana sports wise is probably better known for producing the likes of Rod Woodson or DeMarcus Beasley. But it is rich in baseball. I stumbled across this dated article...

And here I thought Ft. Wayne was just known for WOWO radio.

I got a hard single to left on a hanging curveball In a men’s league tournament off former Red and Ft Wayne native Mike Roesler.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

When I lived in Wisconsin, I went to a Beloit Snappers game. They were playing the Fort Wayne Wizards. The reason I will never forget the name of the FW team comes down to one particular fan there. This guy spent the entire game chanting "Let's go Wizards. <clap> <clap> <clap> <clap> <clap>." 20-some years later, my son still brings it up once in a while. We wonder if Fort Wayne baseball still has its lone superfan.
