    Lefty bat with huge power.

Wasn’t expecting it, but not bad for 12th pick. Very young.

    Good luck!

Hoping for the best. His performance for USA under 18 team was not good.

Best bat speed and arguably raw power in the draft at 12? That'll work.

Same. High risk/huge reward, crazy raw power who can stick in RF. I'm fine with that at #12 in a weird draft.

    Totally cool with Hendricks...

I’m cool with it as well. Would’ve preferred Ed Howard but fine with Hendrick in the Jay Bruce/Austin Kearns mold. Hopefully he’s more the former than the latter.

I love high upside bats and he definitely is one.

    Reds comp: Jay Bruce/Austin Kearns
Recent draftee comp: Blake Rutherford (a guy I liked a lot who hasn’t panned out - so far. Hopefully Hendrick works out much better).

Not who I wanted but I'll be pulling for him to make it big.

Seems like a pretty good defender. Will be 19 years old next week.

Should be fun to see him develop with all that power.

Weird draft. The consensus top 10 almost all went in the top 10, but in different orders than expected.

Did not see Hendrick being the pick, but the way the draft fell, I guess he was best available ❤️

Edit - the heart emoji was a typo, but I laughed hard when I saw it, so it stays..

He can (almost?) see PNC Park from his house.
